Heritage Days

The Mayor came to visit Christchurch Blacklands on Friday, 13th September at 10 a.m., as part of the Heritage Open Day.

I would like to thank everyone for their help in making the Heritage Open Days run smoothly. Everyone pitched in and gave their wholehearted support and the atmosphere on the open days was wonderful with many of us finding out so much about our lovely church. Visitors came, not in vast numbers, but steadily and nearly all showed their appreciation. The flowers were beautiful, the cakes delicious and the stewards and tea makers enthusiastic and charming.

Thanks to everyone for their efforts.
