Special Services

Our Church is the venue for some special Services, which fall outside of our regular schedule.

Last year, 2016, on 18th September, as in past years, we held The Battle of Britain Memorial Service, in conjunction with the Hastings Branch of the Royal Air Forces Association.

We have Special Seasonal and Christmas Services, including a Christmas Carol Service, a Dramatised Nativity “Crib Service” and a “Midnight Mass” on Christmas Eve and a Christingle Service, usually at Candlemas.

Our annual Harvest Festival Service is held usually in the framework of a Family Service, in early October. In 2017 this was on 1st October, at 10:30 a.m.

Last year, 2016, we held a special Service of Healing on 16th October, the Sunday before the Feast Day of St. Luke on 18th October.

On 29th October 2017 we had special Service of Remembrance, when we invited everyone to enter the names of loved ones who have passed on to be with Jesus in a Book of Remembrance, to be read out in Church on the Sunday for All Saints Day.

In November we hold our Remembrance Day Service on the second Sunday, again in the framework of a Parish Communion.

We hosted the Deanery Confirmation Service with Bishop Richard on 22nd November 2015.
