Praying Round the Parish and Deanery this week: 21 July 2024

Parish: Brookland Close, Elim Walk with Elim Church, Elphinstone Avenue with The Baird Primary Academy (Elphinstone School), Linley Drive, Waldene Close

Deanery: St. Matthew's, Silverhill with St. Ethelburga: Rev'd Matthew Foy, Minister-in-Charge. Salvation Army and the Independent Churches. The MAGNET Theological Centre.

JOBS: To go forward there are many tasks and roles that we still need to fill:

We need: Poppins helpers to make tea,serve drinks,wash up

Community Links - to spot new people, publicise events and link people to us.

Servers - to help in the Communion service

New People Welcomers - able to help newcomers “feel at home”.

Bell Ringers - Contact Stephen Harvey 01424 423 230  sj.harv@hotmail.co.uk, or just visit a Friday practice!

Choristers - practices 6:15 p.m., Monday Evening, or talk to Muriel

Gardeners - to look after our trees and shrubs, plant bulbs and care for our churchyard
