Groups
In “Normal” times many Groups use the facilities provided by the Church and Parish Hall. As well as Church Groups, many local organisations use our facilities and a directory of these is part of the Parish Hall section. Whilst we are in the Covid-19 state these activities may be suspended, Please check with the Group Contacts for the latest status.
Parish Group: Not active currently but when active usually meet at 7:30 p.m., on the third Monday of every month, in the Parish Hall. For most meetings a guest speaker is invited to give a talk on a subject of interest. The Group have regular outings and organise special events as well.
Blacklands Afternoon Fellowship: Meet on the fourth Monday of every month, at 2:15 p.m., in the Parish Hall, or at other times as announced.
Sunday School: Meet in the Parish Hall at 10:30 a.m., every Sunday during normal school terms, except the first Sunday when we are in Church for the Family Service.
Home Group: Meet regularly throughout the year on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m., for Prayer, Bible Study and Discussion. Groups meet in member’s homes. Please contact Jean Wilson on 01424 422630 for more details.
Poppins Parent and Toddler Group: Meet in the Parish Hall, every Thursday Morning throughout the year, except during school holidays and when it is Christmas Day. The Hall is open from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m., and all parents or carers and Toddlers are welcome.
JAFFA Club works with children in local schools, led by youth workers and assisted by church members.
Prayer Group and Prayer Chain meet in church regularly and pray every day in many ways, to support our ministry and outreach.
