Cradle role officer

Maintain contact with all children baptised at Blacklands till age 5 years

Sunday school helpers

Work with the children on a rota basis on a Sunday following a set plan, attend bi monthly planning meetings (CRB needed)

Parent & toddler helpers

Support leader on Thursday mornings at P&T group

Sides persons

Greet people, give out Service and Hymn books, organise collection of offering and guide people during communion

Duty wardens

Unlock and prepare the church for the Sunday morning service

Intercessors

Compile and read prayers during Sunday service

Readers

Read designated Bible reading during Sunday service

Lay Ministers of Communion

Serve communion bread and wine to communicants (you will need to attend a short course)

Flower arrangers

Produce a flower arrangement for Sunday service on a rota basis

Planned Giving Secretary

Promote the Diocese Planned Giving Scheme initiative

Bell Ringers

Practice on Friday 7:30 pm

After Service tea servers

Prepare tea trolley before Sunday service, serve tea and coffee after service and tidy up after

Church Cleaners

Brass and silver cleaning plus general cleaning of the church
