Bell Ringers’ News.

The ringers who want to visit in August are the Universities Association of Change Ringers. The Association was founded in 1943 to bring together past and present ringers from different universities, and their summer tour has been an annual feature since 1944. This year the tour is the week of 17th to 24th August.

The headquarters of their tour will be Canterbury Christ Church University, based in Royal Tunbridge Wells. From there a party of about 30, the majority of whom are graduates, will visit many towers in the area. They intend to visit us on Wednesday 22nd August and to ring from 5pm to 6pm.
