EASTER CHURCH FLOWERS

The church will be open on Saturday 7th April at 9.30 am  for the purpose of decorating for Easter. Your help with flowers, foliage and with decorating would be welcome.

June sears.

Mothering Sunday

Many thanks to June Sears, Andrea Biker, Vee Duggan, Peggy Nessling and Pat Caton for providing such pretty Mothering Sunday posies. And didn’t the children do well delivering them?

WOMEN’S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER

Many thanks to those who supported the services. 74 people attended the morning service, 78 in the afternoon and 53 made up the congregation in the evening. We were able to send £390 to Head Office in Tunbridge Wells.

WE NEED YOU

  1. Volunteers are needed to learn how to man the sound system in church
  2. Anyone who would like to volunteer to be a communion assistant please see Jean
  3. Anyone interested in attending an Alpha course to see a member of the PCC.

Please come forward to help with the above.

Out of Parish Giving

At the end of last year the PCC discussed which charities it should donate to. After discussion it was agreed that the sum of £160.00 would be donated to the following eight charities:-

If you have any charities you would like to be included in this year’s out of Parish giving scheme then please see a member of the PCC and give them as much information about the charity as possible so it can be considered for a donation.

SPRING FAIR

The Parish Group committee have decided not to hold a Spring Fair this year but instead will organise a charity coffee morning on Saturday May 19th when there will be a plant stall, cake stall and a raffle. Contributions for either stall will be very welcome, nearer the time of course!

Thanks for Hard Work

Dear Margaret,

Thank you so much for all the lovely knitting you collected together and then sent to me care of Ellen.

Will you please thank all the ladies who have worked so hard on behalf of the children in Ukraine.

It is all very much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Jane.
